OFF-PISTE WINTER VACATION

MULTIFACETED JOY

No, it is not just about skiing or snowboarding here. Sölden, in the midst of the magnificent Ötztal mountain scenery, offers much more than "just" fun on the ski slopes. Landscapes covered by a deep layer of snow. Beautiful nature. And hmmm . . . , just smell that fresh, clear, mountain air.

Over 50 kilometres of winter hiking trails

A gentle workout and true recovery for body and mind. Directly behind our hotel, 50 km of signposted, winter hiking trails await both you and the whole family. Put on snow shoes, and the route is theoretically unlimited. Discover the most beautiful places around the town in a guided tour. Snowshoes can conveniently be borrowed from the Intersport Glanzer branch in the basement of our hotel.

Ski tours & freeriding in Sölden

An Eldorado of unspoiled and first runs. Very diverse. From the leisurely to the challenging, tour hikers and freeride skiers find their much sought-after piece of freerider bliss. Accompanied by experienced skiers, you will discover genuine insider spots. It is important for skiers to use complete, functional, ski-touring equipment. The branch of Intersport Glanzer in our hotel will be happy to advise you.

195 kilometres of cross-country trails

The backcountry of the Ötztal, along with perfectly prepared and free cross-country trails, is there at the feet of fans of Nordic skiing. From the Valentin Design Apartments, you can easily, and quickly, reach the Ötztal cross-country ski centre by bus. Use of the cross-country skiing bus is free to all guests (with cross-country equipment) carrying a guest card. Ski-hire available. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel!

Tobogganing & sledding

A winter holiday without tobogganing is like the dumpling soup without salt. Unseasoned. The Stallwiesalm nature tobogganing run, and that of Gaislachalm/Silbertal are guaranteed to get you going. Go sledding either by day or in the evening. Both tracks are within easy range, on foot, of the Valentin hotel, or by minibus. Toboggans can be hired! 

Ice skating, curling, tandem flying and much more

Ice-skating with the whole family – a fashionable must. Do your sporting laps alone, in twos or in threes on Sölden’s ice-rink. Or, how does a social curling party look? Or a hot hockey match with your whole tour group? This is not a problem in Sölden. Not exciting enough? Try paragliding and tandem flying. Feel the thrill of paragliding, safely accompanied by a professional pilot. See the white glittering glory of Sölden in winter, beneath you. Then go over the impressions of the day in our sauna and relaxation area.
